Below you will find the terms for purchasing original artworks.

Terms and Conditions (English)

  1. General These terms and conditions apply to the purchase of original artworks (paintings) through the website of Oldager. By placing an order, the buyer accepts these terms.
  2. Products All artworks are original and one-of-a-kind unless otherwise clearly stated. Colors and details may vary slightly from the images shown due to screen settings.
  3. Prices All prices are listed in DKK and include VAT unless otherwise stated. Shipping costs, if any, are shown separately before checkout.
  4. Payment Payment can be made using the methods available on the website. The amount will only be charged when the artwork is shipped or handed over.
  5. Delivery Artworks are shipped to the address provided by the buyer or can be collected by prior agreement. Delivery time depends on the size of the artwork and destination and will be stated at purchase. Risk passes to the buyer upon delivery.
  6. Right of Withdrawal In accordance with EU consumer law, the buyer has a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day the artwork is received. The right of withdrawal does not apply to commissioned or custom-made artworks created to the buyer’s specifications. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the buyer must notify the artist in writing. Return shipping costs are borne by the buyer. The artwork must be returned securely packaged and in the same condition as received.
  7. Returns Returned artworks must not be damaged or altered. Any loss in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the artwork may be deducted from the refund.
  8. Complaints and Warranty The Danish Sale of Goods Act applies. A 24-month right to complain applies to defects that were present at the time of delivery. Complaints must be made within a reasonable time after the defect is discovered. The right to complain does not cover damage caused by improper handling, hanging, storage, humidity, direct sunlight, or normal wear.
  9. Copyright The artist retains full copyright to all artworks sold. Purchase of an artwork does not grant the buyer the right to reproduce, resell images, use the artwork commercially, or otherwise exploit it without written permission.
  10. Personal Data Personal data is handled confidentially and used solely for order processing and delivery, in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
  11. Governing Law and Disputes Any disputes shall be governed by Danish law. Consumers may submit complaints to the Danish Consumer Complaints Board if no agreement can be reached.
